Movie Review : The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima

This was a great movie!  We borrowed it from netflix and it was so good we're thinking about buying it!!!  It was done in 1952.  It's about all three children, Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia.  It has their joys,

trials and sufferings.  It's pretty close to the story.  There's even a funny character called Ugo.  He's some smooth operator!  Actually he's the character of Cisco in the Cisco Kid.  My grandmother was in a couple of his movies(course though that was long ago.).  The only difference is that he has a bigger mustache.

But that's another movie review for another day!

There aren't any really intense parts.  The only thing that might be a little frightening for younger siblings is the part where the officials threaten to boil the children in oil.  They don't actually do it - it's just a threaten.  It doesn't show the deaths of the children but Lucia does get very upset when she finds out that they will die before her.  The acting is so good that you'll find yourself crying with her.

You can buy The Miracale or Our Lady of Fatima at Amazon.  And if your interested you can get The Cisco Kid at Amazon also.
